Nick has served in the healthcare field for 30 years. He started his career as a front line team member, and quickly realized that helping others was his calling. He began to work with seniors in assisted living, and enjoyed making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Nick’s favorite Sunrise Principle of Service is Preserving Dignity. “Preserving and promoting dignity allows for a high quality of life for our seniors,” Nick said. “It is something they want, need and, most importantly, deserve.”
As director of sales, Kim loves having the opportunity to listen to heartwarming stories from residents and families. She loves getting to know residents and hearing their unique perspective on life.
Kim feels rewarded in her role knowing that Sunrise provides incomparable care and support to seniors and their loved ones.
Outside of work, Kim spends time outdoors hiking and biking. She also enjoys baking, shopping, music, theatre, and the arts.
Carmelita has worked at Sunrise of West Babylon for 13 years. Her favorite part of her role as Resident Care Director is working to provide the best care possible while managing our residents’ healthcare needs in so many different ways. She says that, through Sunrise, she’s been able to grow as an individual. She appreciates her staff and says she’s fortunate to work alongside each of her fellow team members.
In her spare time, Carmelita likes to read and travel with her husband and two children.
As the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator, Alexandra says she loves spending time with the residents and taking them on trips. She says that together they have fun playing word games, board games and Wii bowling.
In her free time, Alexandra likes to spend time with her son and husband.
Linda has been at Sunrise of West Babylon since September 2002, before the building was completed. She was hired as part-time evening concierge and was quickly promoted to Business Office Coordinator. She had the pleasure of welcoming the community’s very first resident!
