Meet some of the members of our team here at Sunrise of Willowbrook, Illinois.

Allison Rackow - Team Member Since 2016

Executive Director

Allison has a background in Social Work, and has worked in Healthcare Administration for the past 5 years. She is passionate about working with seniors and their families, and believes strongly in the model of care that Sunrise delivers. Her favorite part about working for Sunrise is the opportunity she has every day to bring happiness to her residents and team members. You will often find her pouring coffee in the dining room, or spending time with residents in Reminiscence.

In her spare time, Allison enjoys doing anything outside with her husband and 3 sons. She is also an avid Cubs fan!

Joe Scarpaci -Team Member Since 2016

Director of Sales

Joe could easily be the first friendly face you meet at Sunrise of Willowbrook. He works with prospective families and residents on a daily basis to assist them with a smooth transition to our community. With a background in dementia training and home health experience, Joe is a wealth of knowledge for inquiring families. 

Joe takes great pride in working as part of the Sunrise of Willowbrook team. He appreciates the home-like environment and being treated like family. 

Outside of work, Joe is an avid billiards competitor and has qualified twice for the Vegas Nationals Tournament. 


Anna Militello team member profile

Anna Militello RN -Team Member Since 2016

Resident Care Director

Anna came to Sunrise in 2016 as the Resident Care Director with more than 30 years of extensive clinical experience in skilled nursing, hospital nursing, restorative nursing, and also as an experienced educator and supervisor. As well as being a certified geriatric nurse and having several dementia certifications, Anna prides herself on the trusting relationships she has built with our residents, their families and our clinical partners. Anna leads our 24/7 nursing team to provide the clinical support for our residents and communicates with the residents’ families to give them the regular updates they need.

Anna’s favorite part of her job is taking the time to sit down with the residents and listen to the stories they love to share. She enjoys learning new things from them and values their insight. 

In her spare time, Anna is an avid hockey fan and always roots for the Chicago Black Hawks!


Erika , Business Office CoordinatorErika Holtman–Team Member Since 2017 

Business Office Coordinator 

Erika joined the world of senior care in 2014, and is so excited to be a part the Sunrise team! Erika’s Granny struggled with Alzheimer’s disease in the late ‘90s, and it was that experience that made her want to help coordinate better care for seniors. 

You will usually find Erika’s office door open as she is happy to have residents and family members stop by to say hello, or ask questions. Erika has experience in assisted living, as well as skilled nursing facility care and she is happy to help answer any questions that you might have. Erika is originally from Southern California but relocated to Illinois in 2015. 

When she is not at Sunrise she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, Dude and Nator. She enjoys cooking, and is always looking for new recipes!



Caroline Roth team member profile

Caroline Roth, CDP -Team Member Since 2015

Activities & Volunteer Coordinator

Caroline loves to learn about each resident’s interests and hobbies, but also enjoys helping them learn new things. Knowing a resident has enjoyed their day and had fun during the programs she has planned is her favorite part of her job. 

Caroline takes pride in creating well-rounded calendars with different selections of activities from which to choose so residents are excited for their day. Planning celebrations and field trip outings is another way she helps our residents Live With Purpose. Caroline is always moving and can be found throughout the community engaging the residents with music, flowers, exercise, and so much more.

Caroline graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in health and human physiology and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner.  


Tim Weigler team member profile

Tim Weigler -Team Member Since 2016

Maintenance Coordinator

Tim started as the Maintenance Coordinator at Sunrise of Willowbrook in 2016 after hearing great things about the company and how the residents are treated. He joined the Sunrise team with almost 20 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC certification. 

Tim is the smiling face who is always happy to lend a helping hand, move something heavy and reach something no one else can reach. He takes pride in keeping a safe and beautiful home for our residents. The most enjoyable part of his position is interacting with the residents. He loves to learn from their life experiences.

When he’s not working, Tim uses his single engine pilot’s license!


Orion Ara, Dining Service CoordinatorOrion Ara

Dining Service Coordinator

Orion has been working with Sunrise for nine years. His favorite part of the job is creating wonderful meal experiences for the Sunrise residents. 

At Sunrise, everybody is always helping each other; teamwork is an essential part of each day and it is the best part of working for Sunrise. 

In his spare time, Orion enjoys watching all kinds of sports, spending time with his wonderful wife and two little kids and vacationing overseas.


Tamika Wills, Resident Care CoordinatorTamika Wills–Team Member Since 2017 

Resident Care Coordinator

Tamika is new to the Sunrise community and has been working at Sunrise since September 2017. She has had previous experience with the senior population in a sheltered workshop environment. In this role, she was a service coordinator supervisor and was in charge of programming and community integration for seniors. 

Her favorite part of the job is the relationships that she gets to build with Sunrise residents. There is an abundance of knowledge and wisdom under one roof and she is honored to be in their presence. 

The best part of working for Sunrise is the opportunity to work there everyday.



Dude, Community DogDude–Team Member Since 2017

Community Dog 

Dude joined the Sunrise team with his human mom, Erika. He has been a registered emotional support animal since December of 2014, and he loves brightening people’s days! 

While he may seem shy, Dude really enjoys being our pet and especially playing a game of fetch! Dude listens to everyone, and is happy to visit you and your family. If you stop by Erika’s office, she can offer a leash to bring him to your loved one’s room, or she can accompany you and Dude. Pets and treats are wagginly welcomed!
