Executive Director

"I have worked with Sunrise for 2 years. I started at Sunrise of Des Peres before moving to Sunrise On Clayton about 8 months ago. I have worked in senior living for over 10 years, in many areas, social service, marketing and sales, business office and administration. I interviewed at Sunrise on my birthday; it was the best present! The mission, principles of service and values were.. are the best! A perfect fit for me. I could not wait to be a part of the team. 

My favorite part of my job is sharing my day with residents and team members, seeing and spreading smiles, assisting our seniors, and supporting our team. Bringing Sunrise to more families and more team members is a passion of mine.

 I love traveling with my family taking a long weekend and driving to fun and exciting places. I enjoy reading and listening to books; I am always looking for suggestions. I also appreciate photography, both taking pictures and admiring others’ work. I am Sunrise."

Assisted Living Coordinator

"I came to Sunrise Senior Living after 25 years in rehabilitation management, as well as a short time assisting with the opening of a franchise home healthcare agency. I am a Physical Therapist Assistant by trade. 

My favorite part of being the Assisted Living Coordinator is getting the opportunity to know and work directly with our residents and families and our team of Care Managers. The best part of working for Sunrise is being part of a family. Sunrise encourages fun and happiness every. The Core Values of Sunrise and our Principles of Service have made me a better person and leader. 

I am the mother of two adult children, both pursuing their degrees, which affords me time to spend with my parents and friends. I enjoy practicing my faith, doing yoga, reading and crocheting in my free time."

Activity and Volunteer Coordinator

“When I joined the Sunrise team, I was an undergraduate student looking for a summer internship for my Pre-Art Therapy degree. That summer was the summer I fell in love with seniors and realized that this will forever be my passion. As my senior year started I couldn’t bring myself to leave my residents so I worked on the weekends while spending my weekdays getting my degree. After I graduated Sunrise offered me a full time position, which quickly promoted me to an Activities and Volunteer Coordinator in May of 2017. I took a year off to focus closely on a family member struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, but returned in January of 2019.

One of the many reasons I love my job is because I get to have fun with my residents every day! I love giving them the opportunity to have new experiences in and outside of our building. Some of the many fun things we do together are : bowling together, enjoying a movie in the theater, sharing a lunch together, driving around the St. Louis area, and discussing new topics over coffee and doughnuts. Sunrise has truly become my second family. I enjoy celebrating holidays with all my residents, family members, and team members.

When I’m not at Sunrise, I am a huge movie buff! On a Friday or Saturday night you can catch me in the theater catching the newest film. I have been married for two years now and enjoy time with my family, friends, and my 3 year old Chihuahua.”

Lead Concierge

“I have worked for Sunrise since 2010. Before working for Sunrise, I worked as a front desk manager for a hotel in St. Louis for eight years.

I enjoy working with all of our residents and their families. I am a people person and like helping and talking to everyone. Helping both fellow employees and resident family members gives me so much pleasure.

I love having contact with people and helping them, both inside and outside of the community. I’m proud to have recently received the 2016 Voyce Exceptional Caregiver Award and Sunrise Senior Living’s Joy in Service Award.

In my spare time, I work for and am a member of the 1904 World’s Fair Society in St. Louis. I also have recently purchased a new Buick convertible and really enjoy riding around in it.”

Lead Designated Care Manager

“I have always had a heart for working with seniors. It is something I realized from a young age. I started at home by taking care of my grandmother and continued as I grew older with my mother-in-law. Caring for seniors isn’t just ‘something you do,’ it is something you have to have a passion for!

I’ve been with Sunrise on Clayton since 2011. I started as a care manager, transitioned to a Designated Care Manager, and then moved to my current role as Lead Designated Care Manager. I love being an advocate for my residents. It gives me joy to know that families can breathe easier knowing I am here for their loved one.

Maintenance Coordinator

"I have worked in senior living since 2003 and recently joined the Sunrise On Clayton team. My favorite part of this position is mingling with our residents, learning about them, their stories and how I can help make their life easier. Every day is different so they keep me on my toes! In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family and friends."
