“In my role as Executive Director of The Carlisle, I love having the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life for our residents and our team members. Little things can make a big difference in someone’s day, and it’s my job to find out what those things are.
The founders of Sunrise wanted to build from their desire to champion quality of life for all seniors. Living that mission through my own work each day is both satisfying and humbling, because there is always more to do.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading and cooking with friends.”

“My favorite part of my job is the time period after a new resident completes their move to The Carlisle. About a month after they move in, the residents are invariably happy, relaxed and relieved to leave the burden of their former home. Then the fun begins! They make new friends and become immersed in a new chapter of their lives full of engaging programs and interesting people. Some never imagined that life could be so fulfilling.
I am constantly amazed by my fellow team members. They work so hard and have a fierce commitment to serving our residents each day.
In my free time, I volunteer and spend time with my baby girl.”
“I have more than 20 years of experience working in a senior environment, and my favorite part of my job is learning about my residents’ personal preferences (from how they like their linens washed and folded, to how they prefer their closets organized). I love to listen to our residents’ life stories and learn from their experiences.
When I’m not at work, I like to spend time with my family and my dog, Suki, and have dinner with friends.”
