We've devoted 35 years to refining our resident-centered care, building the most passionate and skilled teams who get to know our residents, and filling every community with the special touches of home.
There is lots of “buzz” circulating about The Fairfax!
Cadets from The United States Military Academy at West Point visited The Fairfax this month for their annual pep rally prior to the Army/Navy football game. Residents appreciated watching the cheerleaders and band perform for the community. Army went on to win the game and the cadets enjoyed lunch at The Fairfax before heading off to local attractions.
The Fairfax was recently named the first certified Wildlife Sanctuary by the Audubon Society of Northern Virginia! This is exciting news for our community which includes a seven-acre lake and numerous green trails, perfect for thriving wildlife. Now over 40 species of birds and butterflies call The Fairfax Wildlife Sanctuary home, and we are especially interested in attracting more monarch butterflies whose population has declined drastically in recent decades and may potentially be added to the federal endangered species list.
