Lucetta Alderfer Thanked By Haverford Township
At its regular meeting on May 9, the Haverford Township Board of Commissioners recognized our late fellow resident, Lucetta Alderfer, with a Proclamation of appreciation for her extensive service to the Township as a resident and later as a representative of The Quadrangle. The Proclamation notes particularly her active participation in planning for the use of the former of the Haverford State Hospital property, preserving green space, improving roads and other land uses. “Lucetta was a regular attender at monthly Board of Commissioner meetings and it was her devotion at a meeting on November 15, 2005 that led to the final development of the Haverford Reserve.” We have our 4th Ward Commissioner, Dan Siegel, to thank for initiating this well-deserved recognition.
There to receive the Proclamation for Lucetta were Weecha Crawford, Joe Hocky, Denise Miller and Tom Unkefer. It will be on display outside of the Library during June and then sent to her younger brothers.

The Quadrangle Team Teams Up With The Ardmore Food Pantry
On June 15, 2015, The Quadrangle sales team volunteered at The Ardmore Food Pantry for the first time and it was a very rewarding experience! So much so, that moving forward the Quadrangle team members will volunteer at the pantry every third Monday of the month.
The Ardmore Food Pantry is located in the Parish Office of St. Mary's Episcopal Church and is open on Monday mornings 9:30-11:30 a.m. and Monday evenings 6:30-8:00 p.m. The pantry is staffed by parish and community volunteers, and relies solely on donations to continue doing good in our community.
We are excited to be a part of their mission! Want to learn more? Ask us about our experience at the pantry, or learn more on their website here.
