Tenure at Sunrise Senior Living:
“I have been a part of the Sunrise team since 2009.”

Experience in Senior Living:
“I have personally been a caregiver and can empathize with the stress, guilt and exhaustion that many families struggle with. I love working for Sunrise because it just feels good to help the people I connect with and to be a part of the solution.”

Why I love working for Sunrise:
“I truly believe we offer the very best in senior care. From our Designated Care Managers and full-time nurses, to our robust activities programs and incredible dining experience, no one provides better senior living than Sunrise!”

My best advice to families or seniors looking for senior living:
“Truly consider what will matter most to your loved one. A mistake families often make is looking for the things they would personally prefer in a community. Often this means searching for a large private suite or a particular view or type of floor plan. In most cases, these aren’t the things that have the most impact on an overall sense of happiness and well-being in assisted living. Consider how your family member spends each day and what will be most significant to him or her. Is your mom a picky eater? If so, focus on the dining programs at the communities you tour and be sure to stop in for a meal. Does your Dad need more activity? If so, pay close attention to the activities programs and be sure they include opportunities he will enjoy. Keep in mind the things that are most important to your loved one and make them a priority as you search for the right community.”
