We look forward to meeting you in person and serving you and your family’s senior living needs. Here’s a look at parts of our wonderful team:
"This year marked my 10th anniversary working for Sunrise Senior Living. Having started at Sunrise of Aurora as a Sales Associate, moving on to the role of Reminiscence Coordinator on our memory care floor both at Sunrise of Aurora and Sunrise of Unionville and now, working the last 6 years as an Executive Director, I have been so honoured to meet so many wonderful people. Over the last four years at Sunrise of Richmond Hill, I can truly say that when I enter our community every day, it doesn’t feel like work. This feels like family, like home. From the residents, to their family, to our amazing team, we treat each other with respect and dignity, we help, laugh and cry together. I always say that if I am not laughing each day when I go to work, then it is time to move on. And after ten years, I am still laughing and feel that there is no place that I would rather be than at Sunrise of Richmond Hill and working for Sunrise Senior Living."
"I started at Sunrise of Richmond Hill almost 3 years ago, and I was welcomed with open arms by the most supportive and kindhearted team. I’m passionate about helping families and seniors make those difficult decisions. I consider it a privilege to participate in our residents journey and support them and their families. The highlight of my job is building relationships with our residents and seeing them thrive in the community."
"I began at Sunrise 5 months ago and it has been the most gratifying career choice in all of the 10 years that I have been a Registered Nurse, and in the last 15 years working with seniors. Our community is filled with joy and laughter with my team and most importantly with all our special residents and families that I encounter. Being able to champion the quality of life for all seniors is what I am passionate about and feel most proud of each and every day. I truly enjoy working at Sunrise, and look forward to what the future has in store."
“I’ve been at Sunrise of Richmond Hill since 2003 and love sharing my passion for music with our residents, filling their days with joy through karaoke and sing-alongs. I love to see their smiles! I’m honored to have won the Sunrise Joy In Service award in 2014.”
"My career at Sunrise began 3 years ago and I wouldn’t change it for the world. My passion, dedication and commitment stems from the love I have for the people I work with and those that I care for. Taking on the role as the Reminiscence Coordinator has been such a rewarding opportunity as I have been able to establish and maintain a strong rapport with family members, friends, team members and most importantly our residents who we care for like our own."
