We look forward to meeting you in person and serving you and your family’s senior living needs. Here’s a look at parts of our wonderful team:
"I started at Sunrise of Richmond Hill almost 3 years ago, and I was welcomed with open arms by the most supportive and kindhearted team. I’m passionate about helping families and seniors make those difficult decisions. I consider it a privilege to participate in our residents journey and support them and their families. The highlight of my job is building relationships with our residents and seeing them thrive in the community."
"I started with Sunrise of Richmond Hill 4 years ago as a College Co-op student while in School for Social Service Work with Geriatrics program. After finishing I was given the opportunity to join the team as a concierge, then was able to further involve myself in the community as a Life Enrichment Manager and a Dining Room Server before finding my way into Sales. The best part of working at Sunrise is the connections we build with residents as well as their families, the feeling of being a part of a community as soon as you walk through the door and are greeted by all the familiar friendly faces.”
"I started as a placement student in Sunnybrook hospital working with geriatrics before working in long term care settings for the last 3 years. I love working at Sunrise because of the warm, welcoming environment and my amazing teammates. I enjoy contemporary dance and listening to music. I'm also very active and enjoy working out, playing soccer, hiking, and gymnastics. In my spare time, I volunteer with The Certified Listeners Society. In the past, I enjoyed travelling and I am looking forward to going to Venice in the future."
“I’ve been at Sunrise of Richmond Hill since 2003 and love sharing my passion for music with our residents, filling their days with joy through karaoke and sing-alongs. I love to see their smiles! I’m honored to have won the Sunrise Joy In Service award in 2014.”
"My career at Sunrise began 3 years ago and I wouldn’t change it for the world. My passion, dedication and commitment stems from the love I have for the people I work with and those that I care for. Taking on the role as the Reminiscence Coordinator has been such a rewarding opportunity as I have been able to establish and maintain a strong rapport with family members, friends, team members and most importantly our residents who we care for like our own."
