Sunrise Senior Living's Alzheimer’s & Memory Care Program is focused firmly on the individual and on providing a safe, familiar, yet stimulating environment. Sunrise’s Reminiscence neighborhoods are specially designed to provide comfort and security in a separate environment for those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other forms of memory loss. Our team is trained to value each senior and to recognize their different preferences and needs. We know that memory loss affects every resident differently and focus on understanding each individual senior to provide memory loss care they respond to positively. Sunrise’s Memory Care was covered by the Washington Post, read more about it!
At Sunrise Senior Living, we have specially designed Reminiscence Neighborhoods for seniors with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other forms of memory loss.

Those in the early stages of dementia and other forms of memory loss may not require the level of structure and assistance found in a Sunrise Reminiscence neighborhood. For these seniors, we offer alternatives like the Terrace Club and Avon Place programs, which are conveniently offered in many Sunrise communities.
Sunrise provides more than 30 years of experience and excellence in the memory loss care field, and we invite you to utilize our resources.
