David Murphy

David Murphy joined Sunrise Senior Living as Senior Vice President, Head of Hospitality in 2026. David leads an integrated hospitality strategy across dining, facilities, resident engagement, and programming, working closely with Operations and community leadership to elevate the everyday Sunrise experience for residents and families. His work mends thoughtful service, personalization, and operational excellence together to help create meaningful moments throughout life at Sunrise.

Prior to joining Sunrise, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Partner of Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants, an award-winning restaurant group focused on exceptional service and thoughtfully designed guest experiences. Earlier in his career, David held leadership roles with The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott International, where he helped shape food and beverage strategy, design, development, and guest experiences across internationally recognized luxury brands, including The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis, bringing more than 25 years of global luxury-hospitality to our team.
