Eliot Hamlisch

Eliot Hamlisch joined Sunrise Senior Living as Chief Commercial Officer in 2026, where he leads our commercial growth strategy across sales, marketing, revenue management, digital engagement, and business development. In this role, he works closely with leaders across the organization to strengthen the capabilities, experiences, and partnerships that support Sunrise’s continued growth and advance our mission of championing quality of life for all seniors.

With extensive experience leading growth, customer engagement, and commercial strategy, Eliot has helped shape success at some of the world's most recognized consumer brands. Prior to Sunrise, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Amtrak. Earlier in his career, he held executive leadership positions with AMC Entertainment Holdings and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where he led functions including marketing, sales, loyalty, customer engagement, and revenue optimization. He also held leadership roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Deloitte Consulting, and American Express.

Eliot earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He brings a passion for building strong teams, fostering meaningful customer connections, and helping organizations grow in ways that create lasting value for the people and communities they serve.
