She plays a critical role in aligning HR strategy with Sunrise’s broader business goals—helping to drive performance, engagement, and growth through the strength of its people. With more than 30 years of leadership experience across talent strategy, workforce planning, benefits, compensation, HR operations, and leadership development, Judy is focused on building an inclusive, high-performing environment that supports both our teams and the seniors we serve.

Judy’s approach centers on active listening, collaboration, and a deep commitment to understanding the unique needs of Sunrise communities across the U.S. and Canada. She works closely with leaders across all levels to ensure that HR strategies meet the evolving needs of the business while enhancing the day-to-day experience for team members on the front lines.

Before joining Sunrise, Judy served as CHRO at Learning Care Group, a leading early childhood education provider, and held senior HR leadership roles at Luxottica, Omnicare, and NCS HealthCare. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has completed executive programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Princeton University’s Leading Change program.

A longtime advocate for community engagement, Judy has served on multiple nonprofit and advisory boards, including the Lindner College of Business, Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, Mason City Schools Business Advisory Board, and the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red.
