Doing More to Make Sunrise a Home for All

Sunrise has made significant strides in strengthening its culture of belonging through clearer communication, meaningful education, and engaging experiences for both team members and residents. Our Belonging Council expanded inclusive communication across platforms, from bulletin boards to systemwide observance messages, while introducing new tools to deepen understanding and connection across communities.

We also provide quarterly learning opportunities and monthly activity guides to advance organization-wide education that supports a more informed and inclusive workforce.

Recent activation efforts have also brought belonging to life through a refreshed onboarding video, a resident interview series, and stronger alignment with Operations to ensure inclusive practices were embedded across all communities.

Together, these initiatives reflect Sunrise’s commitment to fostering a workplace where every team member feels supported, valued, and empowered.
