A Sunrise Recipe: Chilled Strawberry Soup

Sunrise Senior Living  |  February 15, 2016

Our chef at Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody, GA, developed this seasonal recipe intended for spring and particularly popular at the community’s annual Mother’s Day Brunch celebration.

Strawberries are central to this recipe, and are very high in vitamin C, which helps promote healthy immune functions and may also help protect against cardiovascular disease, eye disease and stroke.

For another take on this dish, try different fruits such as peaches, nectarines, honeydew or watermelon.
