"I am new to the Sunrise team but have prior experience working with seniors in a supervisory role at a local adult day health program serving those with memory loss. I am a graduate of California State University at Northridge and received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus on Social Work. I credit my mother for igniting my passion in senior care. By the age of four, I witnessed how my mother cared for her ill parents- giving them repurpose until their resting day. Since then, I have valued the importance of implementing people’s unique life experiences into their care, so much so, it remains my favorite aspect of my job.
Working at Sunrise alongside a passionate team gives me the opportunity to do what I truly love. Ensuring each resident feels they have a reason to get out of bed every day warms my heart.
In my spare time, I like to hike, be outdoors, discover new places, explore museums and attend concerts."
