"I started my career with Sunrise in 2017 as a concierge. Shortly after, I worked my way into the Associate Sales Director position before accepting the role as Director of Sales. This role allows me to be part of a major moment in families lives, which I feel is the biggest reward. I feel like when they come to me for help, you can see a weight lifted off their shoulders. This is my favorite part about my job.
My favorite about Sunrise is the care we provide and being able to give families peace of mind their loved will be taken care of. During my free time, I enjoy cooking for my family, exploring new local destinations and walking my dog, Chance."
Dianna joined Sunrise of Seal Beach in 2018 as the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator. She actually started her journey in senior living as a volunteer at this very community while finishing up her bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy at Cal State Long Beach. Spending time with seniors felt like a natural calling to her and she knew she had found her home in senior living. After working at two other independent living and assisted living communities, she returned to Sunrise.
She enjoys building programs and activities that create meaningful moments and memories for the residents and their families, while managing a great team of activities assistants and drivers. It’s a blessing to be part of such a great team that brings joy to seniors each and every day. In her free time, Dianna enjoys baking, reading, traveling with her husband and spending time with family.
Johanna proudly joined our Sunrise Team in 2011. Since her arrival, she has made it her mission to dedicate herself to providing top quality care to our residents. Her professionalism speaks volumes. While ensuring our residents activities of daily living standards are being met, she is also managing our team members. With Johanna’s abundance of enthusiasm, she encourages and drives her team members to parallel their performance with the Sunrise mission, Core Values, and Principles of Service.
Johanna says, “the best part about working at Sunrise is boosting employee morale and building relationships with my residents and their families.” In her spare time, she enjoys playing roller derby, watching movies, cuddling with her two cats, and spending quality time with her family.
Beginning her career at Sunrise in November 2011, Sandra had the opportunity to care for our residents as a Designated Care Manager. Since then, she has worked as a Lead Care Manager, Administrative Assistant and now as a Business Office Coordinator.
