Nick Stengle joined the Sunrise family as its next chief operating officer on August 16.
Dear Friends of Sunrise:
Today is a very humbling day for me as I join the wonderful Sunrise family. Like you, I have chosen to become part of this incredible organization because I firmly believe in our mission to champion quality of life for all seniors and know that together we can continue to positively impact the lives of so many families.
It is an honor to join this team which firmly and consistently demonstrates the people-focused culture and lasting principles of service that have set Sunrise apart for 40 years and will continue to serve as our foundation for growth as we look to maintain our position as a great place to live and work.
I truly believe that each of us must find passion and meaning in our work and, as an Air Force veteran, I am drawn to organizations that set and follow a clear mission. That rings true at Sunrise as team members across the organization wake up each day with one focus – providing the very best home for the thousands of residents that rely on us to support them with highly personalized care and service. I find myself fortunate to join the dedicated team at Sunrise in their service to others and look forward to supporting our communities alongside them. Their work over the past year has been admirable, as they have overcome unprecedented challenges for our families and residents. You can continue to expect the same high-quality support and engagement that are a hallmark of Sunrise.
I’ll begin my journey by listening as I visit our communities and meet with team members, partners, residents, and residents’ families throughout North America. I want to hear your ideas and thoughts. What do you love about your experience with Sunrise? What do you think we could do differently or better?
