Love this property. Love the staff. I have known residents and workers at this building for many many years and it’s always nice to see the big smiles from everybody.

My mother-in-law is here. It is such a relief to know that she is cared for and treated with the dignity and respect. The facility is clean and everyone is so kind. As soon as you walk in you feel welcome and it feels like home!

This is a top notch facility. The staff are attentive, friendly, and caring. This Sunrise facility gets my vote!🙂

I recently had to find assisted living for my loved one. I toured many facilities and Sunrise of Shelby met all of our needs. The staff made move in so easy. Staff is available 24/7 and treat us as family! I am especially grateful for Ryan and Amie for all their assistance! The facility is very clean and the food is wonderful!

The staff is very caring and compassionate towards dad and he is always treated with respect. The facility is very clean and comfortable and I know that my dad is safe. I highly recommend Sunrise of Shelby. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and you can always find someone to help. I, as a guardian of a resident, I too feel like part of the family. They have different events and many many things the residents can do throughout the days. I cannot give high enough praises to one individual Because they work as a team, they all are awesome!!

Making the decision to put a loved one in a memory care facility isn’t an easy feat, particularly when you thought they would be coming home from that hospital. However, the people at Sunrise of Shelby made it easy. I had the pleasure of working with Ryan and he put our minds at ease. He said Sunrise’s role was to be the caregivers, giving you all the freedom to be the family. The entire process was seamless, from the paperwork to the move in. The facility is always clean and the staff is the best! I’ll admit, my dad hasn’t been the best patient, but Sunrise didn’t blink an eye, so to speak. They just took care of busy and kept us in the loop, as necessary. The nurse, Physician Assistant, admin, receptionist, caregivers…all great. Plus, Pinky, the resident dog, gets along with our pooch who gets to visit. We can go back to being the family. I would highly recommend checking them out.

My mother has been in Sunrise Memory Care since October 2024. I am extremely pleased with the care she has received. The staff is wonderful. The facility is clean. I could not have chosen a better place for my mom.

Amie Cash and the marketing team has been instrumental in providing our patients a beautiful experience in senior living. I go to SO many communities, and I truly have to say that sunrise Shelby is a very special place where time and attention to a wonderful community has been given. The meal options are vast and provide options to seniors who are picky or have a poor appetite. They have so many great activities available that Rhonda and the activity team offer to provide life enrichment. They have a beautiful reminiscent unit for memory care residents. They offer so much support for families and the entities they partner with! We are so blessed to work with their community! Thanks sunrise!

So far I am elated to begin a new chapter in my life and with Sunrise Senior Living where we will together learn, work and grow. Sunrise Shelby is the absolute best place for senior living. The staff is wonderful. The facility is beautiful. They have a chef that makes wonderful meals and there is weekly five star entertainment. The residents are well cared for, with dignity, kindness and love.

I’m happy with the care my 95 year old mother has been given at Sunrise. The staff takes the time to give her care and attention she needs. I would recommend Sunrise of Shelby to anyone seeking assisted living for their loved ones.

Sunrise Senior Living of Shelby Township has been a blessing for my dad. The staff is friendly, caring, compassionate and supportive. I know that my dad is safe and cared for. Sunrise of Shelby has such a home style feeling where everybody is your neighbor/ friend. I may not know all the residents by names but they all greet me when I come in, I am there every day to see my person. My hat goes to every staff member there, my resident cannot say one bad thing about the staff members there they are so good to him. If you need to put a loved one anywhere, Sunrise of Shelby is the place.
