Sunrise on Providence

Sunrise on Providence should be commended for their care and love of residents. I moved my father out to be closer to me as his needs increased, but it was sad to leave what in a few short months felt like home to the both of us. The director, Beatrice runs a team that is responsive to needs and truly cares about residents, from Sal in maintenance that played guitar with my dad, to Rick the bus driver that took dad on lunch outings to countless caregivers that would ask about dad while he was in rehab. I can't say enough about the love that was shown And dad couldn't say enough about the good food! Thank you to all for being a part of this journey with us. I continue to sing your praises everywhere I go.

A professional and courteous staff, from the receptionist to the director. The nursing and resident assistant staff are well trained and take excellent care of the residents. It's a very home-like environment. All in all, Sunrise has provided excellent care for my father at a very reasonable cost.

Deciding to place a loved one in an Assisted Living facility is never easy, but finding the best possible one does make a difference. At Sunrise they really do have the best interest of their residents at heart. My father recently moved in after a short hospital stay, and while I was afraid he was going to isolate and not engage with the community (he was a loner at home), he has really opened up and now participates in their activities, enjoys walking, and to some degree socializing with the other residents. Even as he is now in memory care, Sunrise ensures he is able to participate in various activities including monthly outings for "lunch with the guys". I can rest easy knowing that at 87 years old, he is well taken care of and enjoying his best life.

The atmosphere here makes me feel like I am at home. The staff is very caring and will help when ever needed. I like the idea that floors are all carpeted just like home. The food is delicious.

My friends and I volunteer at Sunrise to play Dominoes with some of the resident ladies. We so enjoy their company and It is such a blessing for us in so many ways to be there. The staff is so helpful and kind. We get such a good feeling while there because its so honey.

I am delighted with the personal care and attention that my brother is receiving at Sunrise on Providence. The team is attentive to my questions/needs, and are excellent in keeping me updated through the Smile App. It is a joy to visit him and see his smile! Thanks to the incredible team who sacrifice for others on a daily basis. You are appreciated.

[name removed] and I have both been pleased with the services provided. From front desk staff to nursing assistance to nursing and administration we are pleased. Nutritional standards are superior. Our only concern is that there is a limited parking, and in our case, it makes it very difficult for our older relatives who would otherwise visit. I feel this deficit is not therapeutic for the residents and I hope that that might change.

It's been a good experience overall. have been pleased with the service levels. Food is pretty good. Clean facility and the help has been very good.

The staff are very polite, helpful and caring for each resident. They get attached to the residents. Just the building could use additional parking

"We Love it Here!" That's what my mother who's been here since November wrote when we were joining her for dinner, and it brought tears to my eyes!! This "Hallmark Movie" as I call it finally has my mother happy, healthy, and being taken care of the way she deserves. Everyone here cares. Everyone here tries to make her comfortable and is accommodating when we come to visit! After 3 other facilities, I cannot begin to express how much better this place is! The therapy is wonderful - Nick, Samantha, and Michelle are amazing!! The hairdresser that comes every Monday is so kind and goes above and beyond to take care of everyone!! The lovely volunteers do nails for everyone on Wednesday and the Bingo and group activities and space for everyone to enjoy music and art are perfect and so appreciated! That would never have happened at her previous places!! Highly recommended to anyone and everyone who seeks a safe home for their family!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Two others and I come here to play dominoes with the residents on Mondays. We always enjoy being here. The place is always clean and very homey.

My mother moved in nearly five months ago at 91. You always worry about putting your elderly parent (with dementia) through a big change, but the entire staff was so welcoming and great with my mom, it was a huge relief. If you are looking for a smaller community with a more intimate feel, I highly recommend Sunrise. The rooms are very nice and great food too! The director, Beatrice, is also very responsive and helpful.

I really liked the tone that was set by the Sunrise-on-Providence Assisted Living Coordinator [name removed] on day #1- resident-centric with lots of care given to attention to details and care of residents/family. What I experienced was staff with patience, following their plans but made time for my dad and us, his sons, upon request. Food was above average for sure; special holiday meals were a BIG deal and felt that way to all. I also enjoyed the diversity of the staff…members from various countries who both listened to and gave their own stories. Dad loved that! The facility was clean, medication team was superb and we could always reach management, as needed! Laundry service was very helpful and overall we felt this was the BEST local choice for our dad!

As a PT, I want to give props to the all the staff at Sunrise on Providence. They are very caring and attentive to resident needs. They help in ensuring mobility and encouraging residents to stay active and keep moving while being safe! I would recommend Sunrise for anyone planning this transition for their loved ones.
