Inside, the design is impressive—bright, modern, and thoughtfully laid out to feel like home. What truly sets Sunrise of Hermosa Beach apart, however, is its incredible range of amenities. The residents have access to personalized 24-hour care. The building is pet friendly, has multiple dining venues offering chef-prepared meals, and cozy lounges for socializing or reading. One of the most impressive aspects of Sunrise of Hermosa Beach is the therapy and rehabilitation team. Whether residents are recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, the in-house physical, occupational, and speech therapists provide expert, compassionate care. The team uses evidence-based techniques to help residents regain mobility, independence, and confidence. Many families are amazed at how quickly their loved ones recover under this dedicated care—often returning to their daily routines faster than expected. The therapists work closely with each resident to develop personalized goals and make the rehabilitation journey as smooth and encouraging as possible. Every one was helpful and pleasant and yes we would recommend the community to others.

We moved my aunt from another local facility to Sunrise at Flatirons and are glad we did. The staff at Sunrise were responsive and attentive. They were willing to help get her up in a chair (required a Hoyer lift) and provide assistance with feeding. Towards the end she was confused and combative but the staff still worked to provide good care

They are all very nice and willing to work with families.

I am writing this review because more often than not, e-mails, letters etc. are written to call attention to deficiencies or lapses in the quality of service we as consumers receive. However, this is not one such review. In fact it is quite the opposite. I wish to shine a light with the brightness of a thousand suns on the outstanding, beautiful and compassionate human beings that make up the care team on the 3rd floor. Donna Grey, Angela Henri-Mundle, Norlene Walters, Jesula, Vivian and Shenekia showed our mother Susan, my siblings and me a level of empathy, respect and care that has affected me to my core and restored my faith in the goodness of people. Each one of these fine individuals showered our mother with kindness, humor and genuine love and affection beyond anything we could have ever envisioned when we had to make the difficult decision to put Mom into a memory care facility. They welcomed her with smiles and a heartfelt "Sooosannn" at every interaction; carressed and soothed her when she was unable to understand what was happening and why, tended to her with the love and sensitivity of a family member and made sure she was looked after and cared for with a degree of humanity not seen in our troubled world today. All of these wonderful people did everything they could to keep Mom's dignity intact and constantly demonstrated to all of us that she was in the best of hands. The difficult, often unpleasant tasks they are called upon to perform, the long and hard hours they work and the time spent away from and the stressors it puts on THEIR families while looking after a member of OURS, has not been lost on me or my family. I implore Sunrise to look after these folks, take a hard look at what they are asked to do and the joyful and loving way they do it and make sure they are appreciated, acknowledged and compensated accordingly. If I were in a position to oversee a team like this, I would be their loudest and largest cheerleader, not only out of admiration for what and how they do what they do, but to show others how high a bar has been set and what it means to love what you do in a facility as excellent as Sunrise of Crestwood. Please applaud the entire staff at Sunrise of Crestwood loud and often and recognize this exceptional group of individuals on the 3rd floor. Ours would be a much better world if everyone had one iota of the substance these wonderful women all possess.

I was very please with the friendliness of the staff and their knowledge of the workings of the facility and their "positive attituid" of what I would I could expect living there.

We had a lovely stay at the independent living Sunrise Of Gilbert. The staff were helpful and friendly. The residents encouraged us to join them with their dinners. People seem curious about why we were there. I think it was the first time the Sunrise Of Gilbert offered respite care. So we were Treated like we were special. The food was good and the menus were varied. There were several nice patio areas outside that we enjoyed. Of course the weather in Phoenix at that time in January and February was pleasant. The respite apartment was very spacious and remarkably well furnished. My husband especially really enjoyed himself there.

Sunrise is a really nice place, the staff is really helpful and friendly!!

My parents are happy and well taken care of here! The staff are so kind to them and us, the family members. There are activities all day long and it’s a beautiful property. Best decision we made!

My husband and I visited a number of locations before we decided on Sunrise of Coral Gables. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this was the place for us. It is a lovely, new building and the staff could not be more efficient, dedicated, and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure each resident is comfortable and happy. The chef prepares exceptional meals with a variety of choices every day. The apartments are lovely and our view of the city is breathtaking. Numerous activities are planned so there is never a dull moment. We feel blessed to have found Sunrise.

In all honesty, a 5 for all of those. The staff is very attentive and the facility is very clean and everyone is very helpful. We would absolutely recommend this community to others! We also looked at Sunrise Fountain Square in Lombard and we would've gone with either one of them. The one in Westmont just had an opening when we needed it.

This is the place to be if you need this level of care ! This place is bright , cheery, and super clean , with residents who are active and vibrant . My sister in law who is 77, who came here 2 months ago is totally happy to be here ! Every day she finds stimulating groups to join and has met other lovely people … could not be happier with the staff who are all pleasant and caring ! Also lovely administrators ! Susan Hodos -Levy

I am a vendor here and interact with the residents and staff. The staff is interactive and great! The community is beautiful!

When my husband arrived back to Sunrise after an extended hospital and rehab stay, everyone worked so hard getting him back to walking, eating, self care and dressing. He made great progress even before the official physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy were approved and arrived a few weeks later. Hats off and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
