I specifically remember him saying that “Sunrise knows how to do it right.” I pursued Sunrise because of their reputation in the community, for being dedicated to quality care and caring for their team members. I love the way our residents make me feel with a hello, a smile or a hug. The worries of the day vanish for a moment and what we do is crystal clear."
"The most amazing aspect about being a Healthcare Coordinator with Sunrise is getting to know each resident as an individual and becoming a part of their family. Unfortunately, I was unable to grow up under the watchful eyes of grandma and grandpa never knowing my grandparents from either side of my family.

Abel is a born leader! He has a way of communicating with his team members that not only gets the work done, but also earns their respect. He has guided his team to success with his strong work ethic and cheerful disposition. Abel's compassion and patience as a lead care manager is to be admired and we are lucky to have him as a member of the Sunrise family!
Denise has been with Sunrise since May 2010. She started as an overnight care manager, promoted to lead on the night shift; then senior lead care manager being groomed by the ALC to manage schedules, and the ALC backup. Then, this past fall, she became the interim ALC and was promoted to the ALC in May. Denise is a shining example of the progression team members can make internally and she has worked so hard in the past years. She says the best part of her job is the relationship with her team and the opportunity to educate and coach them and help them succeed. Because she has “been there” she says the respect is mutual.
A note from her supervisor, our Reminiscence Coordinator: “Katrina, is one of the hardest working individuals I know. She is the first person to say ‘I’ll do that’ or ‘I will stay.’ Her passion for what she does is evident in the care she provides our residents and her team. Katrina truly ‘champions quality of life for all seniors.’ It is an honor to serve alongside her.“
