"I have worked with Sunrise since 2019. I started off as the Associate Executive Director at Sunrise of Montgomery Village, before coming here to Sunrise of Bethesda in 2021! Prior to Sunrise, I spent 10 years working in a Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care setting where I worked with DC Medicaid in both the Admissions and Finance Departments. To branch out, I left DC to come to Maryland and spent two years at a Life Plan Community, gaining experience in the Independent, Assisted and Memory Care side of Senior Living and Aging Services. I love being a part of a company that cares about the individual. Sunrise is an organization that continues to strive to create the best experience for our elders. My favorite part of the job is developing relationships with our families and our residents. I love being able to create an inclusive and supportive environment. Seeing a resident thrive in their new home, having a family hug you and experience a sense of relief that their parent is safe, and watching a team member grow and excel is that 2nd paycheck that makes me look forward to coming into the community every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, husband, and our dog. I also enjoy taking road trips, cooking and tending to my vegetable garden."
"I started my career in senior living in 2008 as a care giver in a memory care community. After being a care giver for a couple of years, I then transitioned to an activities assistant position, which brought me to my role in sales. I love meeting with families and being a resource for them as they search for the perfect community for themselves or a loved one. It brings me so much joy when a family I helped comes back to me and says, 'I wish I had done this sooner.'
In my spare time, I love going to the beach in the summer and spending time with my husband, son and two bulldogs."

"Prior to my current role, I worked for the Arlington County Government's Public Health-COVID 19 response team. Prior to that, I was a Sunrise employee and worked as both a Care Manager for Sunrise of Annapolis and a Life Enrichment Manager for Sunrise of Rockville.
My favorite part of working at Sunrise is interacting with residents and team members from various cultures and backgrounds. It gives me so much joy making a difference in our residents' lives.

"I have had the pleasure of working for Sunrise Senior Living since 2018. Prior to joining the Sunrise family here at Bethesda, I started my career as a dishwasher in Assisted Living at the age of 14! For the last 15 years, I have been working in the Hospitality industry with some of the fine hotels in the area that I am sure most people are familiar with and have visited. There, I worked my way up to Executive Sous Chef. Sunrise Senior Living provides a great work/life balance. I love the environment, and the level of care provided to our residents. I believe in the vision of the company and I am always so happy to see how each of the departments work together to achieve the same mission.
As the Dining Services Coordinator, I find great pleasure in being able to cook for the resident each day. The best part about working at Sunrise Senior Living is being able to provide excellent hospitality to the residents. To be able to hear their stories from their past and build relationships with them. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to work for Sunrise. To be able to see the residents in the dining room gathering and enjoying their meals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.

"I started with Sunrise as the Human Resources Assistant at Fox Hill in July of 2018, and was then promoted to Business Office Coordinator at Sunrise of Bethesda in November 2019. Previously, I worked for Global Express Financial Services, TIO Networks and PayPal in the Billing and Reconciliation departments for 9 years. My favorite part of my job is being able to interact with the residents, team members and residents' families by assisting them in whatever way I can. In my role, I am involved in many aspects of the operations of the community. Sunrise has given me the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is exciting and motivating.
