At this time, Sunrise of Metairie residents remain safe and comfortable, and we are reporting no significant physical damage to our community following Hurricane Zeta. We are currently without power, but with generators in place, we are continuing with normal operations. Our team will communicate directly with residents and families regarding the estimated timing for restoration of power, and families may still reach us via phone at the community. We appreciate our families’ support and understanding during this time.
In honor of Veterans Day, veterans and their spouses can lock in their suite rate* through January 1, 2023 if they sign a residency agreement by December 31, 2020. Care fees are excluded. Offer applies to new move-ins only. Contact us to learn more.
*Offer applies to veterans and veteran spouses that are new move‐ins in the United States only. Offer does not apply to Medicare, Medicaid, or other public health program admissions. Respite stays or skilled nursing admissions are excluded from this offer. Other restrictions apply. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
At Sunrise of Metairie, a premier senior living community in Metairie, LA, residents enjoy the best of New Orleans’ unique culture. Our huge celebrations include family and friends and our activities are geared to celebrating all kinds of traditions and enjoying life. Sunrise of Metairie embraces a truly holistic approach to care. Each resident receives individualized care in a comfortable, nurturing environment, and our Designated Care Managers and team members not only support our residents’ physical needs—they go the extra mile to build special relationships where they can laugh together and enjoy their time. In fact, many of our care managers have been with Sunrise for over 10 years.
Our dining program features local cuisine such as fish, shrimp, oysters, crabs, jambalaya and gumbo—just to name a few dishes! And our activities program is extensive with many clubs and outings such as Cajun dancing and steamboat rides on the Mississippi River.
