Executive Director

"I have been an Executive Director/Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for over 8 years. I am new to Sunrise and I am excited to be a part of the team. I love interacting with the residents on a daily basis and getting to know them and their families.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the movies, concerts, and playing golf. I also enjoy community volunteering on various projects."

Director of Sales

"I became part of the Sunrise Team in July of 2019 and have worked in Senior Living for 2 years. I graduated from the University of Texas in Dallas with a marketing degree and have cherished my journey working with our wonderful Seniors.

I love being able to help families feel safe and secure when moving their loved ones into our community. With our residents at the center of everything we do at Sunrise, being able to see them flourish is what makes my job so rewarding.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring downtown Dallas and watching sports with my friends! Go Cowboys!"

Director of Sales

"I joined the Sunrise family in 2020, prior to that I have accumulated over 20 years’ experience in the senior living and hospitality industries as a Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. I am also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Director (TRD), Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and I am in the process of obtaining my MBA in Healthcare Management.

I love being part of the Sunrise family as it feels like home to be surrounded by so many wonderful residents and team members. It's like living on a cruise ship that never leaves the dock, I cannot wait to move in myself.

In my spare time, I enjoy sailing, golf, traveling with my family and friends as well as spending time with my husband Craig, and our two 50-pound rescue dogs."

Resident Care Director

"I have been with Sunrise since July 2019. Before that, I have worked as an ICU nurse, neurology and cardiopulmonary, a Radiology Nurse Manager, and worked in skilled and infusion nursing. However, I came to Sunrise from the Home Health industry where I managed personal care givers to many seniors in their homes.  

My favorite part of my job is using my training to impact wellness outcomes and maintaining a level of dignity throughout all life phases in my residents. The best part about working for Sunrise is working with a truly compassionate team to provide resident centered care and assisting my residents in living their best lives."

Assisted Living Coordinator

"I have been with Sunrise since July 2017. Started as a care manger and completed the DCIT (Department Coordinator in Training) program in March of 2020. My favorite part of my job is being able to see all the residents and building those relationships with them. I truly enjoy being someone they can come to when they need anything no matter how big or small. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 12-year-old daughter. I enjoy reading poetry and being outdoors."

Reminiscence Coordinator

"I had the pleasure of starting my career as the Reminiscence Coordinator at Sunrise Frisco for 3 1/ 2 years and also spent a short time in Chicago at Sunrise of Naperville North. My favorite part of my job is spending time talking with the residents. The residents have plenty of stories to tell and they have the best sense of humor. The best part of working at Sunrise is leaving my family at home, just to come to work with the rest of my family.

In my spare time, I love learning about Real Estate and the stock market."

Business Office Coordinator

"I have been the Business Office Coordinator at Sunrise of Plano since it’s opening in June 2006.  Prior to Sunrise, I spent 12 years in office management and accounting. I worked in various industries, from sheet metal manufacturing to banking.  I hold a degree in accounting. I truly enjoy getting to know our residents and hearing their stories and their memories.  I also enjoy getting to know and working with our families.  Each person who comes into my office is someone who deserves nothing but the best customer service I can give him or her.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies with my husband, and spending time with my family and my 2 dogs."

Activities and Volunteer Coordinator

"In September 2019, I was hired by the Sunrise Community to work as an Activities Assistant, and was shortly promoted to my current position. Before joining Sunrise, I worked at a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Monterey, California. I spent six years as a Certified Nurse’s Aide/Restorative Nurses Assistant, and as an Activities Director Assistant for three and half years"

"What I enjoy most about working in Activities is having the ability to make a positive impact on the physical, emotional, and spiritual well being of those who reside in our community. Sunrise has gone above and beyond to provide the tools and training necessary for me to successfully fulfill the duties of Activities and Volunteer Coordinator."

Human Resources Representative

"I originally joined the Sunrise community as a concierge in May of 2020. I wanted to surround myself with like-minded people that had a passion to support and nurture others. With a background in customer service and communications, I am now the Human Resources Representative. My favorite part of my job is seeing our team's commitment to providing the best experience for our residences and their families. I am constantly inspired by our team's perseverance to achieve our mission! Sunrise continues to show me that the most beautiful things are smiles, laughter, and moments together.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family."

Maintenance Coordinator

"I have worked as a Senior Maintenance Coordinator for 6 years.

My favorite part about working at Sunrise is visiting with the residents and hearing their stories. I love my role at Sunrise because I know I am making a difference in our residents' lives.

In my spare time, I enjoy working in the yard, hunting and driving around in my side-by-side motorcycle with my wife."

Dining Services Coordinator

“I have been working in the kitchen since I was 19 years old and have been a member of the Sunrise team since 2010.

My favorite thing to cook is desserts, particularly fruit tarts. I love to make the residents feel special. When residents have really specific requests, I will go out and talk to them to make sure I’m making something they will want and like. I know it makes them feel special and it makes me feel good too.”
