“I started my career with Sunrise Senior Living in March of 2014 after I graduated from Weber State University with my masters in Health Care Administration.
The thing I love the most about my job is hearing the residents call our community their home, I am proud to know that I had a part in making them feel at home. The best part about working at Sunrise is forming relationships with our amazing residents and being surrounded by professional care givers who come to work and share their compassion day after day.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures with my wife and five kids.”
“I started working in the senior living industry in 2008 and immediately found out that I had a passion for helping seniors. I began my career with Sunrise Senior Living in 2013 as a Designated Care Manager, and I was promoted to the Director of Sales in 2016.
The most rewarding part of my job is offering a solution to families, whether it is in the form of Sunrise or another resource. I enjoy witnessing the relief that seniors and their loved ones experience after making the transition into our community. My coworkers and residents have become an extension of my family and that is what I love most about my job.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, traveling, and spending time outdoors.”
“I began working for Sunrise Senior Living in 2005 as a Designated Care Manager at a community in California. After my family and I moved to Utah, I started working at Sunrise of Sandy as a lead care manager in our assisted living neighborhood. In October of 2016 I was promoted to the Reminiscence Coordinator and have loved it ever since.
I love the Sunrise mission and our resident-centered care philosophy. Spending time getting to know the residents and their families makes my work worthwhile each day.
I live in Saratoga Springs with my husband and two beautiful children.”
“In 2014 I started my career with Sunrise as a Designated Care Manager. After a few years I was promoted to Reminiscence Coordinator at Sunrise of Holladay and loved the relationships I was able to build with our residents and families. Just recently, I moved back to Sunrise of Sandy to become the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator.
I am passionate about my job. My love for the residents and my desire to make each day great for them is my motivating force. I love to see their smiles and know that the activities we provide are increasing the quality of their lives.
I am married with two wonderful teenage sons and live close by in Sandy.”
“I started with Sunrise of Sandy in 2016 as a part time dishwasher and knew right away that this was where I wanted to work for a long time. As a dishwasher, I would spend my free time with the residents and helping out with activities so I decided to get my Certified Nursing Assistant license so I could spend all my time doing those things and more. I started working as a Designated Care Manager in our Reminiscence neighborhood in 2017 and shortly after was promoted to Lead Care Manager.
My favorite part about Sunrise is getting to know the residents, their families and creating a homelike atmosphere for them. I enjoy creating pleasant days for all of our residents and joining them on their journey!
I am currently going to school to get my degree in Business Administration and hope to further my career with Sunrise. In the free time that I do have, I enjoy watching movies and traveling to Puerto Rico to see family and friends.”
