Today, Sunrise Senior Living, an industry pioneer and leading provider of senior living services, announced the reopening of Sunrise of Redmond in Bellevue, Washington after an extensive renovation of the community.

The renovated, approximately 75,000 square foot, two-story property will be home for up to 119 residents and offer assisted living as well as memory care options for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Seeing the need to update the property to accommodate and serve today’s seniors, Sunrise of Redmond underwent a complete interior and exterior renovation beginning in July 2021. Sunrise’s in-house design studio partnered with Wattenbarger Architects to carefully redesign the community’s interiors with an elegant mix of contemporary and mid-century modern design.

The team carefully integrated elements that complement the culture and natural beauty of the surrounding area. Sunrise of Redmond features custom furniture built to meet residents’ accessibility and comfort needs. At the heart of the community are fully renovated amenity spaces, including the bistro and lounge, where residents can enjoy their morning coffee, an afternoon snack, or relax by the fireplace with an aperitif before dinner. The community also offers beautifully landscaped outdoor areas and courtyards where residents can relax and enjoy green space.
