“I joined the Sunrise team in January 2012. I managed Sunrise of Springfield’s sales and marketing department before transitioning over to Sunrise of Alexandria. I ensure that each new resident’s move-in and orientation is a seamless process.
I love to travel, camp, hike, hunt, and fish. The most rewarding thing that I have done is volunteering for the Catholic Hospital in Guatemala City and working with malnourished children. My passion is helping to find a solution for people who have a need.”
Caring for the residents, ensuring their dignity is preserved, and communicating and interacting with families face-to-face makes my job incredible.
In my spare time, I enjoy cleaning, cooking for my family, and taking care of my new grandsons.”
“I have been working with Sunrise of Alexandria since 2010. I have over 30 years of experience in nursing—I’ve worked in long term care, cancer research, veterans affairs, assisted living, and home health, to name a few.
I love going out and performing the initial nursing assessment with prospective residents and their families. I enjoy getting to know them and addressing their needs from the start so I can create an individualized service plan that showcases the resident’s background and needs.
The best part of working at Sunrise is getting to brag about our excellent team and the quality care we provide. We encourage optimal levels of functioning and independence to truly champion quality of life for our seniors.
