Sunrise of Falls Church

We found that Sunrise of Arlington is the perfect place for our mother. Liz went above and beyond to answer our questions and make the decision to place our mother feel easy. She is wonderful!!

A very welcoming place and a caring environment. Extremely dedicated staff. It can take a few weeks for some issues to get ironed out but you truly feel that everyone is there to help the resident and promote his or her well-being. Virtually every resident seems happy and it is truly a team approach to address the individual needs of each resident. It is a very good choice.

I have to post my experience at Sunrise of Smithtown this week. I have been researching & touring senior livings across the island for my dad. This is the hardest decision i have had to make & by far Sunrise has been comforting from the start. The staff were so welcoming and there was such a warm feeling while being there. Everyone I had interaction with was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. This is still such a tough decision but after seeing how clean the facility is & how caring all the staff was it definitely makes this decision a little easier. This felt like “home” & I feel my dad will be loved & cared for. I believe this is the best decision i can make. Thank you to all the staff, I look forward to this wonderful home for dad.

The staff there are all very nice and always helpful. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Crestwood.

Overall the facility was pleasant. The lady who gave the tour was informative and helpful. It’s definitely a contender in our process of looking at independent and assisted living options. We were looking for a studio and it seemed they were farther away from communal areas and elevator. But overall it was good!

Great location, beautiful community with a wonderful staff. Came for the dog days of summer and enjoyed the back patio with all the furry friends!

The staff and the room/cleanliness are excellent. The dining experience is just okay.

We just moved my Grandma from Florida up here to the memory care unit. It was a hard transition for many reasons but the staff at Sunrise have been very patient and understanding. I visit almost every day and Grandma has acclimated to her new home due to the staff empathy and encouragement.

In addition to being a beautiful place. what I noticed most when I toured Sunrise was that the staff and residents were happy, which means a lot. When my mother went into Sunrise from a rehab center, she couldn’t even stand on her own without falling. After only a month, she is walking now with a walker and doesn’t need her wheelchair except for when she is really tired. She is on the memory-care floor, but after a month of being there, she is definitely more alert and interacts with people more. I am amazed at the genuine concern and individual care the staff provides (even little things like knowing my mother likes her coffee black and doesn’t like oatmeal). I come from out of state and stay overnight for a few days as often as I can, and I look forward to going there! I don’t think I could find a better care facility for my mother than Sunrise. It has really eased my stress level knowing that my mother is safe and truly cared about at Sunrise.

Working at Sunrise has made me feel appreciated. Sunrise likes to promote from within. The hardest part of working in a group are different personalities. When everyone is on the same page, that will make the work easier. The most enjoyable part of working for Sunrise for me is helping residents and their familes..

Sammantha in memory care is sooooooo amazing with so much sunshine and love for each individual resident. Not only does she take care of her residents but she is an amazing boss to her employees.

The facility was great- the staff were all very kind and respectful. My mother is a difficult person to deal with on a daily basis and they handled her care with grace and skill. The staff were clear communicators and managed her care very well. The building was well laid out, the apartments were large and well laid out. Highly recommended this community.
