Sunrise of Rocklin

After many years with my Mother in Law there, it is now my mother's turn. We could not have been happier with how my mother in law did there and my mom should be just as happy. She is in what was a Sunrise, now Ivy Park in Monterey, but we have seen problems with staffing and facilities issues that we never saw at Sunrise of Rocklin. It is a newer facility and smaller that may be a part of the difference. We look forward to having our mom there and three hours closer to us.

I have been visiting Sunrise for several years and have always been impressed with their level of care and attention to their residents. There is always something fun happening! Sunrise of Rocklin feels like home. The staff are warm and friendly and genuinely care about the residents.

I have nothing but praise for Sunrise of Rocklin. My mom has moved to Sunrise and is in the memory care section of the facility because of her medical conditions and her care has been nothing short of FANTASTIC. The facility is very clean and inviting, and is well maintained, the food is excellent and the care is superb! Every single staff member I have encountered has been caring, highly competent and responsive. The staff keeps the residents engaged with activities and a lot of interaction. I honestly cannot think of a single negative aspect to Sunrise based on my interactions and observations so far. I hope they can keep up with their outstanding care!

This senior community is the best I have ever seen! The staff is well trained and even though it's hard work, they manage to keep up. The Care Managers and upper management know the residents personally and have a relationship with each one. The mansion is well-kept with a beautiful garden and walkway in the back. There are activities every day for residents to attend along with movies, live performances, and fun events! If you care about your elderly family members and want them to continue to have excellent health along with loads of fun, then this is the place to go!

I reached out for resources and everyone was so kind. They helped my family and I find the right solutions. I strongly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for care for their aging parent.

The staff was great. My mom was not there for very long and was in and out of the hospital. She was 98 and passed away in [date removed]. I appreciate both you and Sunrise of Rocklin. We were brand new to the area and found the community, as a whole, from A Place for Mom to neighbors, the medical community, and certainly Sunrise of Rocklin were very helpful and comforting.

Absolutely amazing!! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles! The staff here are very welcoming and truly care about their work and the residents. The design of the rooms and building are bright, warm and feels just like a home, no sterile hospital smells.

As a real estate agent, whose niche is working with seniors and helping them downsize from start to finish, I am very particular about what assisted-living communities I refer my families to. Sunrise of Rocklin is at the top of my list! The residents are very inclusive with new community family members; So much so that one sweet lady that I met had only been there one month and had made many friends and loved attending the social hour. Ariel, the activities director with a bubbly personality, keeps everybody busy with fun, social activities. You can tell that the staff at Sunrise of Rocklin truly care about their community and will go the extra mile to make residents feel welcomed and content during their stay. Just ask for Alicia, the marketing Director, and she will be happy to give you a tour of the beautifully designed spacious rooms!

What we like the most about Sunrise of Rocklin is the size and the community. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far .

Dad was there for my respite break that I take once a year. Monique came to my house to do dad assessment for memory care and made the process so easy. This is my third year taking a respite break and their care was so great. They sent me pictures and update almost daily him and what he was doing. He will definitely be back again next year!!

Placing a loved one in assisted living is difficult. The entire Sunrise staff make your person feel welcome and cared for.

Bridgeway36 Inc. was invited to Sunrise of Rocklin as part of a Juneteenth activity, this Intellectual group of residents was quite engaging. After a review of my book the Activity Director Ariel B. Gave me a tour of the facility. Dignity is High on his list and it shows right down to the china used for meals and festive activities including “Daily Happy Hour”! I had no idea Assisted Living was more than a Nursing home it was like a cruise ship environment. I have recommended it to friends.

My family toured most of the senior living facilities in the area and this one was by far the best. Clean and friendly atmosphere and beautiful grounds. I know my loved one will be so happy there. Alicia Mascarenas was beyond helpful and so sweet answering our questions and always available to help this transition go smoothly. Couldn’t be happier!

The facility was clean, plenty of activities and took really good care of the Delgado’s. The reason that we moved, my parents is because the cost went up about [fee removed] without adequate notice. Parents were evaluated. There should be more of an upfront of letting us know the cost of medication and all the extra charges for care since it’s a point system. Shouldn’t matter if they want to take three showers or one shower a week. Or wheeled down to the dining room. Don’t understand, the concept of charging for everything when employees are already working there to do their job. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and very helpful.
