Last week, Sunrise became the first-ever senior living provider to earn the distinction of “Highest in Customer Satisfaction among Senior Living Communities“ by J.D. Power, the most trusted name in market research. Sunrise ranked highest in 5 out of 6 study factors: caregiver/staff; services/activities; setup/orientation; rooms/building/grounds; and food/beverage.
NRC Health recently named the recipients of the 2017 Excellence in Action award in the Health category.
Caring for the environment goes hand in hand with our mission to champion quality of life for all seniors. And at Sunrise, we are committed to making energy-conscious decisions to better our planet.
When I think about this year’s National Assisted Living Week (NALW) theme, “Nourish Life: Mind, Body, Spirit,” the Sunrise Signature Experience immediately comes to mind. From our meaningful activities and programming, to designated care managers who form rich relationships with residents, to tasty, nutritious meals prepared by our culinary team, and even our community pets – it’s the entire experience that supports our residents to lead a nourished life full of purpose.
This National Assisted Living Week (NALW) we celebrate the theme of “Nourishing Life: Mind, Body, Spirit.” And, oh, how true it is that assisted living is an ideal environment for social engagement and individualized care to nurture the whole person.
As we celebrate this year’s National Assisted Living Week (NALW) theme of “Nourishing Life,” we thought this was also a good time to celebrate how, at Sunrise, our mission extends beyond what simply happens within our communities. So we can strive to champion quality of life for all seniors, we offer tons of resources for caregivers and their loved ones to help them lead a full life that nourishes the mind, body and spirit – right here on this blog, our SeniorEats® nutrition blog and on our website. These are available whether your loved one is a Sunrise resident or not.
The key to our success is no secret. It’s our great team members who enable the quality care our residents and their families expect.
As we celebrate National Assisted Living Week (NALW) and reflect on what makes our industry and long-term care so special, there are many things that come to mind. At the very core, however, is quality care.
